Covering Flux prevents oxidation and oxygen absorption of the melt surface during aluminum alloy melting.
Aluminum alloy is very easy to absorb hydrogen and oxidize when smelting. Spread Covering Flux to form a dense protective layer to protect the purity of the melt.
All components are properly heat-treated to remove the adsorbed water and crystal water, and are screened to ensure uniform particle size.
After the covering agent melts, the surface of the aluminum liquid has a low viscosity and good fluidity. A dense protective film is formed on the surface of the aluminum liquid in a short time, thereby protecting the aluminum liquid from oxidation and absorption.

Covering Flux Usage
Covering Flux is white powdery fine particles composed of chloride and fluoride salts and other compounds.
It can be sprayed with gas in the refining tank, or it can be directly sprinkled on the surface of the metal liquid, and evenly mixed into the impurity separation effect.
It is used in the furnace covering of aluminum and non-high magnesium aluminum alloy strontium modified aluminum alloy, which greatly reduces the metal loss caused by the liquid surface oxidation and reduces the oxidation burning loss.
A physical barrier is formed between the molten aluminum and the oxidizing gas in the furnace to reduce the formation of oxidized inclusions in the aluminum liquid and produce an isolation effect, which is beneficial to improve the casting quality.
Meet the production of high value-added, high-tech performance aviation, transportation and other aluminum alloy precision casting.
Covering Flux advantages
Forms a dense protective layer to reduce gas involvement.
Reduce metal loss due to liquid surface oxidation.
Moderate melting point, good fluidity and good coverage.
Less use, low cost, and low metal content in the resulting slag.
Covering agent, slagging agent, slag cleaning agent, refining agent used in aluminum alloy melting
1. When the temperature of the aluminum alloy reaches about 660-720 degrees, add the refining agent. Press the tool to the bottom until no bubbling occurs. It is mainly used to remove hydrogen from the aluminum liquid. Refining agent: zinc chloride.
2. Add slagging agent after refining, remove the slag after fully stirring with tools, mainly used to remove impurities in the aluminum liquid, slagging agent is mainly used for lead alloy smelting.
3. After the slag is cleaned, spread covering agents such as expanded perlite and expanded graphite on the surface to prevent the hydrogen in the air from entering the aluminum liquid and keeping it warm.
4.After the melting of aluminum and aluminum alloys, the furnace cleaning agent cleans the furnace wall.
